Plagiarism
Authors are advised to observe high standards in the aspect of publication ethics. Any plagiarism (fabrication or falsification of data) is strictly unacceptable practice in Tikrit J. Pure Sci., including duplicate publication of the author’s work without proper citation.
Every manuscript submitted for publication is checked for plagiarism via Turnitin after submission and before being sent to the editor for editorial review. Any detection of overlapping and similar texts in the manuscripts submitted will be investigated promptly and may lead to the manuscript being rejected.
After the acceptance of publication, plagiarism is checked multiple times before the research is published. One of the reasons for revoking acceptance may be the discovery of a high plagiarism percentage after acceptance. Whether the plagiarism is intellectual or textual, the editorial board will reevaluate the research.
Researchers should also be aware that the journal considers AI-generated plagiarism. The acceptable percentage of AI-generated plagiarism must be maintained, as this concept is relatively new, and the journal continuously updates its standards regarding this matter.
